The Production Process of Ceramic Fiber Cotton
The whole manufacturing process of ceramic fiber cotton have four steps:
First of all, high-purity clay clinker, alumina powder, silica powder, chrome sand and other raw materials are melted at high temperature in an industrial electric furnace to form a fluid, which is then blown by compressed air or twisted into a fiber by a twisting machine, and next the cotton is gathered by a cotton collector, finally we got ceramic fiber cotton.
Common aluminum silicate fiber cotton is produced by using hard clay clinker as raw material, melting by electric resistance furnace, blowing or twisting into fiber.
High-purity, zirconium-aluminum-type aluminum silicate fiber cotton, using high-purity alumina silica powder as raw material. It is produced by melting in an electric resistance furnace, blowing or twisting into a fiber-forming process.
